Thanksgiving
Sing unto the LORD, O
ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. (Psalms
30:4)
Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High: (Psalms 50:14)
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be
thankful unto him, and bless his name. (Psalms 100:4)
Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy
endureth for ever. (Psalms 106:1)
And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the
disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the
fishes as much as they would. (John 6:11)
First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is
spoken of throughout the whole world. (Romans 1:8)
But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and
bringing me into captivity to the law ofsin which is in my members. O wretched
man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God
through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of
God; but with the flesh the law of sin. (Romans 7:23-25)
Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh
manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. (2 Corinthians 2:14)
Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift. (2 Corinthians 9:15)
Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our
Lord Jesus Christ; (Ephesians 5:20)
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. (Philippians 4:6)
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus
concerning you. (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that
is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. (Hebrews 13:15)
