Pride

And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass: (Leviticus 26:19)

Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed. (1 Samuel 2:3)

The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined. (Psalms 10:2)

The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts. (Psalms 10:4)

Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer. (Psalms 101:5)

Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom. (Proverbs 13:10)

An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin. (Proverbs 21:4)

And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. (Isaiah 13:11)

But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. (James 4:6)

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. (1 John 2:16)
