Anger
Cease from anger, and
forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. (Psalms 37:8)
A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. (Proverbs
15:1)
Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.
(Ecclesiastes 7:9)
But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause
shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother,
Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool,
shall be in danger of hell fire. (Matthew 5:22)
Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak,
slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. (James
1:19-20)
