God
Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in
holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? (Exodus 15:11)
And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God,
merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
(Exodus 34:6)
Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there
is none else beside him. (Deuteronomy 4:35)
The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he
shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.

That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over

For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all

behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful
for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. (Psalms 139:1-6)
The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. (Psalms
145:17)
But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall
be sanctified in righteousness. (Isaiah 5:16)
The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon
give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and
thy God thy glory. (Isaiah 60:19)
Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name

But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at
his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is
faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will
with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that
God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. (1 John 1:5)
And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he
that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. (1 John 4:16) |
